Sliding Windows with springs

Modern sash windows are sliding windows which use a spring system, instead of weights, to counterbalance the weight of the vertical sliders.

These Vertical Sliders are more suitable for modern buildings that have the same brickwork dimensions both inside and outside, as these windows do not have a hollow box frame, but a solid frame, with the springs semi concealed next to the openers themselves.
